The Commanderie de Bordeaux is delighted to welcome Lisa Perrotti-Brown, MW, at a special Parlement featuring Bordeaux wines from the 2000 vintage. 

In addition, we will welcome our fellow Commandeurs and guests from the Newport Beach chapter of the Commanderie de Bordeaux. 

The evening will begin with Champagne and tray-passed hors d'oeuvres on the outdoor terrace of the Santaluz Club overlooking private vineyards planted on slopes just beyond the golfing greens. Photographs of prize-winning photographer Johan Berglund, co-founder of The Wine Independent, will be on display.

An elegant, seated dinner follows, where we will savor a wide selection of chateaux wines from Bordeaux's 2000 vintage, artfully paired with an exciting menu. 

Many of us were introduced to Lisa Perrotti-Brown when, in 2008, she was chosen by Robert Parker to succeed him as editor-in-chief of The Wine Advocate. Lisa says, "I loved working with Robert Parker and what he started was incredible; he changed the wine world." In 2021 she was ready for something bold and new when she founded her own publication: The Wine Independent.
