Six talented wine makers from Bordeaux are pouring their wines at a Tasting for the Trade to be held at Solare, 2820 Roosevelt Road, Liberty Station, San Diego. Part of a new, grass roots marketing group of Bordeaux vignerons calling themselves Le Grand Cercle, they're a veritable brain trust, representing generations of viticulture and viniculture, with approaches to vineyard and cellar that are both traditional and innovative. These wine makers are growing grapes and vinifying juice in the same terroir as their ancestors. They know their land and their wine by heart. You'll love meeting them!

Delicious now or to be put away to age for five or ten years, or more, these traditional Bordeaux blends of cabernet sauvignon, merlot, cabernet franc and petit verdot exhibit a phenolic ripeness and integrated tannins supporting juicy red and black fruits typical of the wines of this region.
