About the event
Six Winemakers from Bordeaux are coming to the beautiful Santaluz Club to showcase both new and older vintages of their wines for the San Diego chapter of the Commanderie de Bordeaux and Special Guests.
The evening begins with a pre-dinner tasting of newly released vintages, presented and poured by the Grand Cercle Vignerons and accompanied by specially paired hors d'ouevres. Stroll among the tables and discuss the vines and terroir with the men and women who call the Old World wine region of Bordeaux their home. They represent families who have been growing vines and fermenting grapes in this region for many generations.
An elegant, seated dinner follows, where we will savor older, finely aged vintages of these wines artfully paired with an exciting menu created by Chef Russell Hawkins. Chef Russell is a culinary star who has pulled out all the stops for this very special evening with a menu that will shine with these wines.
Dressy Spring Attire and Commanderie pocket crests.
