Join us for the opportunity to savor fine Bordeaux with almost four decades of bottle age. Commandeurs and special guests will gain a deeper appreciation for what has made this wine region arugably one of the world's finest, dating back four centuries and more. 

Cabernet Sauvignon was the star in the 1986 vintage in Bordeaux. The wines of many Left Bank chateaux are displaying impressive lifespans. The best of these have benefited from time in the cellar and are delicious examples of aged Bordeaux.

The Cabernet based wines when first released were powerful and sophisticated with big, structured tannins which bestowed these wines with a significant capacity to age, particularly from the appellations of Saint-Estèphe, Pauillac and Saint-Julien. We will be enjoying selections from each of these appellations.
